Origins of AMR Aquamation

In 2002, AMR established AMR Aquamation as an automation group to serve water and wastewater facilities in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Our services include SCADA, wireless telemetry, PLC panel building, and instrumentation integration. Since our inception, we have completed numerous projects, partnering with various product brands to meet the needs of our clients.

Industry Recognition and Certifications

AMR Aquamation is recognized as a Rockwell® Authorized System Integrator, Wonderware InTouch® Authorized System Integrator, and Inductive Automation® Certified Integrator for their Ignition HMI suite. Our custom-built control panels are manufactured in a Certified UL-508A Panel Shop, and our facility holds ISO 9001-2015 certification, ensuring the highest standards of quality in every project.

Expansion Through the PEMCO Merger

In 2016, AMR acquired PEMCO Corporation, expanding our capabilities under the name AMR PEMCO. Through this merger, we continue the tradition of providing reliable electrical distribution equipment and industrial control buildings (ICBs). Our product offerings include power centers up to 34.5 KV or 10MVA, in-house dry-type transformer manufacturing, power distribution panels, and custom-engineered e-Houses, motor control centers (MCCs), and other electrical control buildings. We offer flexible options to accommodate any brand of equipment, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and instrumentation.

AMR Aquamation specializes in SCADA, instrumentation, controls, and monitoring for water and wastewater projects. Our services range from consultation and installation to full project management, depending on the needs of the client or their engineering design firm.
